Some apps don't support rotation, so your screen may not rotate even if Portrait Orientation Lock isn't turned on.
Rotate the screen on an iPhone without a Home button
The Sky Go app is available on a host of different platforms, including iOS and Android devices, desktop for Mac and PC, and even Xbox One and PS4 game consoles. You can expect it to be available. From 1 January 2021, you won’t be entitled to stream Sky outside the UK using your Sky Go, Sky Kids, Sky Sports, Sky Sports Mobile TV and Sky Sports Box Office apps. Some Sky apps will allow you to download your favourite shows and movies over WiFi before you leave home to watch offline while you’re abroad. With Sky Go you can watch entertainment, movies and sports live and on demand anywhere you like at no extra cost your Sky TV subscription. Download the app onto your compatible smartphone or tablet.
- Swipe down from the top right-hand corner of your screen to open Control Centre.
- Tap the Portrait Orientation Lock button to make sure it's turned off.
- Turn your iPhone sideways.
If the screen still doesn't rotate, try a different app – such as Safari or Messages – which are known to work in landscape mode.

- Swipe up from the bottom edge of your screen to open Control Centre.
- Tap the Portrait Orientation Lock button to make sure it's turned off.
- Turn your iPhone or iPod touch sideways.
If the screen still won't rotate, try another app – such as Safari or Messages – which are known to work in landscape mode.
